IT Technical Personnel from Mexico Through the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Netshore is able to locate highly qualified technical personnel from the country of Mexico who are able to provide a wide range of IT/programming services for U.S. companies (much like the current H1B visa program for IT technical personnel from other countries such as India). However, unlike the H1B program which can take years to obtain a visa, “Trade NAFTA” (or TN) visas are available in virtually unlimited supply and can be obtained very rapidly. Having special connections with the U.S. State Department in Mexico, Netshore handles all TN visa arrangements for potential candidates to insure their prompt availability for placement within the U.S. If desired, Netshore can also take care of all travel/relocation arrangements for recruited candidates. All recruited candidates are proficient in English and are highly experienced in all aspects of the IT industry. Candidates can be obtained in virtually all programming languages, database platforms, and operating systems: Microsoft - Visual Basic, ASP, .Net, others (including scripting languages) Access, SQL, Oracle, and other database platforms (“open source” or otherwise) Windows, Unix/Linux, and other operating systems Technical Placements Technical placements from Mexico are generally substantially less costly than normal recruitments in the U.S. There are no minimum wage requirements (unlike the 95% of prevailing wage required under the H1B program). Mexican technical personnel can be hired initially for as little as one-half to two-thirds that of normal domestic recruitments (and potential relocation costs can also be substantially less). All of these factors result in a much less costly recruitment (including recruiting fees which are obviously based upon initial compensation). Temporary Placements Technical placements from Mexico can be used on a “contract” basis for either long-term or short-term IT projects within the U.S. Under this approach, the Mexican “contractor” remains a Netshore employee who then handles all monetary and administrative matters associated with the contract employment (much like a “temporary employment services” agency). Contract rates for temporary placements can range from as low as $40.00 per hour for less experienced personnel having less competitive skill sets (such as Microsoft programming languages) to as much as $50.00 per hour for more experienced personnel with more competitive skill sets (such as Java, PeopleSoft, and related “specialty” skills). “Technical Leasing” Mexican technical personnel can work on IT projects without being physically located at the client workplace under our technical leasing program. Under this program, Mexican personnel remain employees of Netshore and work out of Netshore’s Mexico operations. Netshore handles all monetary and administrative matters associated with employment but all work-related supervision and guidance is provided directly by client personnel or management. Rates for technical leasing can range from as low as $20.00 per hour for less experienced personnel having less competitive skill sets to as much as $40.00 per hour for more experienced personnel with more competitive skill sets.
